Valentine's Day Water Marble

Last week I won Pipe Dream Polish's A Night in Vegas giveaway. I received them very quickly and was so excited to start playing with them. Here in New York we were snowed in from the blizzard, so what better time to do a water marble mani! One of my very good nail polish girl friends sent me some nail stamping polish prototypes to sample. She knows my love for nail stamping and wanted some honest feedback before releasing her collection this Spring. I was beyond excited to play with them!

Any Disney fans here? How excited were you for Maleficent!? The movie was fantastic and Angelina Jolie played the role so well. I saw it with my husband and we both thought it was a really cool movie. It really lived up to our expectations.

I'm probably one of the least creative people you'll ever meet so I'm very grateful that Pinterest exists for people like me. Pinterest is my source of inspiration; there is such a wide variety. This mani was inspired by Kate Spade's blue and mint leopard print.

The Rite Aid near me finally stocked up on Loreal Neons. I picked up 4 of the 6 colors: Acid Watermelon, Punchy Lychee, Fluo Azur, and Flashing Lilac. The 2 colors I didn't get were: Banana Pop and Energetic Tangerine.

Today's mani was inspired by a pair of Sophia Webster Coco Rainbow pumps. It is metallic silver with neon splatters.

Aruba Blue

Essie Aruba Blue is one of my all time favorite blue nail polishes. It is a stunning sapphire blue that looks amazing on anyone. It applies nicely and is opaque after 2 coats. I love Aruba Blue when it's glossy but I get crazy over it when it's matte.

Throwback to the 90s

Since today is Thursday, I decided to throw it back to the '90s. I had wanted to try the dry brush technique for a while. It resulted in a pastel paint splatter look. To spice it up, I added hot pink triangles. I thought they looked very 90s but according to my husband they look Mayan. My nails remind me a lot of the fashion from one of my personal favorite 90s shows, Saved by the Bell. Was anyone else super envious of Kelly Kapowski's clothes?
